The first adventure begins with a short cutscene showing how the vikings had the 20 silver axes stolen from them and the origins of both The Rope and Indiana-Kirby. Other than that and a few other differences its almost the same game. Also the Hero isn't invincible in this game. Another Difference is that Grinning Colossus had 8-bit graphics.
