The Skeletool CX retails for a hefty $96, but can be found online in the $60-$70 range. After sending back the tool, I received a new replacement Skeletool in no time and have had no issues after using the tool almost everyday for over a year. I unfortunately had to take advantage of this service shortly after purchasing my Skeletool when one of the pliers levers cracked off. Like all Leathermans, the Skeletool CX is backed by the company’s legendary 25 year warranty. What good is a huge multi-tool with EVERYTHING if you never carry it with you?! To me, this is the best feature of the tool. The lightweight nature of the tool along with the pocket clip and carabiner allow the user to practically have the Skeletool CX on them at ALL TIMES. These help to keep the weight down to 5 oz. Additionally, the Skeletool CX sports a slim, lightweight body with sexy carbon fiber inserts. The main features of the Skeletool are pliers of course, a stainless steel combo straight/serrated blade, a universal bit screw driver with an in-handle bit holder, and the smartest tool of all, the bottle opener/carabiner clip in one. Rather than packing as much useless crap that you will never need into one tool, the Skeletool CX breaks it down to the basics that one would use on a daily basis. In a market flooded with overweight, out of control multi-tools, the Leatherman Skeletool CX is a breath of fresh air. What good is a huge multi-tool with EVERYTHING if you never carry it with you?!
